Description :   Stone with the entirety of its surface covered in cortex. Hammers are usually unmodified stone artifacts, which are made from a very hard rock. Since most of the artifacts found in the tombs of El Caño were made for burial, that is to say they were new, they do not show any evidence of use. This makes it difficult to identify culturally unmodified artifacts such as hammers.
